The Story
Where every little detail catches the light.
The Chandra Diya began with the delicate form of an Ivy leaf. Through my Botanical Casting technique, its intricate veins and textures are captured directly from the real plant, leaving behind an impression that is slightly different every time.
Each piece is then hand-painted to bring out those botanical details, with soft colour or touches of gold that catch and reflect the light. When illuminated, the textures become even more beautiful — shadows deepen, details emerge and the whole piece takes on a quiet glow.
Place it at the centre of your rangoli, on a festive table or amongst the flowers and décor of your puja space. It is the kind of piece that feels just as at home during Diwali as it does long after the diyas have been put away.

Materials & Dimensions
Material: Plaster of Paris
Technique: Botanical Casting using impressions of real Ivy leaves; hand-painted with watercolours and gold/shimmer accents
Variants: Ivy — Gold; Ivy — Coloured
Handmade variation: Each piece is cast from a real botanical and finished by hand. Variations in the botanical impression, texture, thickness and colour are natural to the process and make every piece unique.
Care
Battery-operated tealights are recommended to protect the painted finish and plaster surface. If using a flame, place the diya on a stable, heat-safe surface and never leave it unattended.
Clean gently with a soft, dry brush or feather duster.
Keep away from water and damp cloths, as Plaster of Paris is porous.
Handle with care when moving or storing the piece.
